Brian Scheidegger, ACE CPT
Brian Scheidegger is a certified personal trainer who has been training clients since 2001. He is certified through the American Council on Exercise. He was born and raised in Michigan but has been in Arizona for several years. Here's how Brian describes his fitness journey:
"As a teenager I picked up a fitness magazine and that was it, I was hooked. Fascinated with the fact that you could change your physique through proper training and diet I set out on a path, competing in bodybuilding competitions for seven years until suffering a severe injury in 2004. Rather than looking at the injury as a setback, I used it as a turning point. Why did this happen? It wasn't a simple matter of doing one thing wrong but rather what I didn't do. I didn't build a proper foundation on which to build upon. A foundation based on a balance of stability and mobility throughout the entire kinetic chain. You're only as strong as your weakest link, identify and improve those weak links and you'll function and perform better in and out of the gym. Placing this foundation at the forefront of program development has helped me create complete training programs for a wide variety of clients over the past decade, from athletes looking to improve performance to someone who wants to function better for basic activities of daily living. The passion, drive and commitment I once had to meet my own potential has carried over to help others accomplish their goals and be a healthier stronger version of themselves. Whether it's a strength and condition program, continuing the road to recovery after physical therapy, nutritional education, or getting a client into better shape and feeling great, improving health and fitness is a journey with a very rewarding destination and I consider it an honor and a privilege to help provide the map."
